The following is just a small step in an incredible journey that I embarked upon when I became involved in the Tea Party Movement:
On Saturday June 19, 2010 a motion was given to the delegates at the Indiana Republican Party’s Convention in Indianapolis to adopt the Resolutions Committee report.
The motion to adopt the platform was given by the most unlikely of all people…a non politician, an ordinary citizen who in normal times dutifully voted, but resigned himself into believing one person could not invoke change, so he sat at home and complained about the political state of affairs the country faced.
That was until the day that he would no longer yield another inch of ground lost to the erosion of freedom by a government gone awry. When all that one holds dear is threatened… his family, his livelihood and his country, a man is compelled to rise up, even if alone, and fight for the very survival of all that is important to him.
